This advanced-level position supports the strategic public relations and communication goals of the university. The Communication Professional III develops complex and sophisticated forms of communication through a variety of means such as articles, news releases, media pitches, ad copy, marketing copy, speeches, statements, letters, memos, reports, and other forms of communication aimed at garnering media coverage of events, programs and activities at KSU as needed by the department or unit. The position proactively mines programs, faculty, and students for news and feature articles that promote academic excellence at the institution. The Communication Professional III responds to public and media requests for information, or guides the public and media to the appropriate spokesperson or representative, and maintains a database of media contacts. The productivity level, volume of work, and enterprising nature of this professional position requires high output and little or no supervision.

Provide advanced administration of Windows Server 2003/2008 Operating Systems and associated services. Proactively address any issues including those both technical and security related within ITS. Have understanding and be able to work proficiently with Windows Active Directory Administration and advanced VMware Server administration. Must be able to evaluate, configure and resolve issues related to enterprise server hardware and enterprise network storage. Be able install, configure, and support network and cloud based applications.
This is a service desk position providing first and second level support via email, phone and in person for all campus technology issues, including software/hardware repair and classroom AV issues. Additionally, this position will assist with the management of the KSU Service Desk, including AV checkout and the main telephone operators.
Provide second tier customer support to the campus user community including issues related to email, file sharing and data recovery procedures; perform as primary administrator of mission critical servers in ITS, including those that provide enterprise wide file, print, email and directory services to campus; administer all ITS Windows and Novell server data archiving systems; manage server hardware for IBM Blade chassis, servers and tape backup devices.

Marketing team members develop and evaluate research-informed plans and campaigns, including: creating advertising, marketing copy, letters, memos, reports, and other forms of communication aimed at increasing enrollment, increasing philanthropic support, improving name recognition, and enhancing the prestige of Kennesaw State and its departments and units. Performs administrative work supervising a small or functional area within a department, division or college.
Provide superior customer service as needed by telephone, in-person, internet, email, or any form of electronic communication. Provide courteous, professional, and prompt service to all customers and patrons. Operates cash register and handles financial transactions. Keeps store merchandised properly, stocked, cleaned, straightened daily, and keeps display fixtures well stocked. Assists with the inventory control process by counting store, stockroom, and warehouse merchandise. Perform heavy lifting, retrieve, and deliver shipments from warehouse and stockroom to the sales floor. Consult on a wide variety of college store merchandise which may include but not limited to textbooks, computers and accessories, skin care, and fragrances. Perform sales duties at special events, book signings, and athletic events. This is a multi-incumbent, seasonal, temporary position.
Intermediate level Technician. Perform all general, preventative and supportive maintenance tasks. Assist level III techs and Master Craftsperson on emergency and corrective and/or preventative maintenance. Perform independent and high level complexity maintenance work including detection and correction of mechanical failures.

Under the direction of the Director and/or Associate Director of the Internal Audit Department, the Auditor will perform professional internal auditing work at Kennesaw State University (KSU). The Auditor will plan and complete financial, compliance, and operational audits and perform special projects and consulting services for the organization’s management, faculty, and staff. The Auditor will be customer-oriented and will acknowledge and respond to customer needs as they arise to ensure customer satisfaction.
