Provide hardware support and Apple certified repairs. Perform tasks associated workstation imaging of 400+ machines per semester and related application deployment. Maintain both Macintosh hardware and software certifications.

This advanced-level position supports the strategic public relations and communication goals of the university. The Communication Professional III develops complex and sophisticated forms of communication through a variety of means such as articles, news, releases, media pitches, ad copy, marketing copy, speeches, statements, letters, memos, reports, and other forms of communication aimed at garnering media coverage of events, programs and activities at KSU as needed by the department or unit. The position proactively mines programs, faculty, and students for news and feature articles that promote academic excellence at the institution. The Communication Professional III responds to public and media requests for information, or guides the public and media to the appropriate spokesperson or representative, and maintains a database of media contacts. The productivity level, volume of work, and enterprising nature of this professional position requires high output and little or no supervision.
Provide support to director and project manager for all projects and will provide necessary information to campus community, consultants and contractors; assist director on special projects (projects include capital project requests, facilities inventory reports, and construction project bid packages); type miscellaneous letters and reports; assists director, project managers and campus community with CAD drawings; schedule all project meetings (implementation, update, review and progress); process consultant and contractor contracts and change orders; maintain project files and drawing files; other related tasks as required.

Responsible for various areas of student success either in Admissions, Career Services, Financial Aid, etc.; can recruit freshmen and transfer students from high schools & community colleges; makes presentations to student groups; counsels students and parents regarding the admissions process OR coordinate campus scholarships; manage programs for students receiving financial aid; process, track, monitor all institutional scholarships; provide financial aid counseling OR be responsible for recruitment, marketing and customer service for KSU Graduate Programs, etc.; analyze transcripts and other documents to determine eligibility.
