The Broadcast Services Student Assistant combines technical knowledge and skill to provide support to the Broadcast Services team in the production of live video events and projects (e.g., live streaming/recording of graduation, concerts, plays, lectures and other campus events). This position's primary focus is in camera operation; however, other roles may include audio production, technical directing, directing and more. Candidates should have a background in camera operation, video, and/or audio production.
Candidates should possess a desire to learn new technologies and skills. Professionalism and strong communication skills are a must. Excellent customer service skills, punctuality, flexibility, and the ability to meet deadlines are required. The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is critical. Work schedule varies weekly. Candidates must be flexible to work evenings and weekends.
